Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
Do you sell PLA?
No. We only offer filament we personally use and manufacture with to ensure consistent, reliable results. In our experience, PLA is not suitable for manufacturing-grade products. It tends to become brittle over time, lacks water resistance, and performs poorly under heat. For these reasons, we don’t carry or print in PLA.
How do you sell below retail prices?
We buy filament in large wholesale quantities and pass the savings directly to you.
What if I want a color not shown?
Email us at info@strataspec.com and we’ll do our best to source or suggest an option.
Can I get color samples or swatches?
Yes. Color samples are available for $10. Email info@strataspec.com to purchase a ring of color samples
Why is my PETG filament bubbling or popping during printing?
This is caused by moisture in the filament. As it heats, the water turns to steam, creating bubbles or cracks in your print.
To fix this, dry the filament using a filament dryer or dehydrator before printing.
How should PETG filament be stored?
Store PETG in a low-humidity environment using sealed containers with desiccant. This helps prevent moisture absorption that can affect print quality.
